Top 20: Movies. Number 20

Posted by Unknown in , , , , , , , , , ,

A lot of you guys know me from filmspotting, but I don't know if I have ever made a "definitive" top 20 movies list. So I'm gonna do it here. Good luck to me!

#20: SHAUN OF THE DEAD

Directed by Edgar Frost and written by Frost and star Simon Pegg, this 2004 horror comedy is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. Not only is it insanely quotable (Shaun: As Mr. Sloan always says, there is no "I" in team, but there is an "I" in pie. And there's an "I" in meat pie. Anagram of meat is team... I don't know what he was talking about. ), it is also a damn good zombie movie.
Here is the trailer for your enjoyment. Enjoy.

Money money money money... clear throat... MONEY

I start work tomorrow.

The bad news: 40 hour weeks doing menial office work.

The good news: They let me listen to podcasts and give me money.

I don't know if the benefits outweigh the negatives.

I worked at the same place last year and it kinda sucked. I hope this will suck less as I will be getting paid more and my friend Jason is working down the street so we could meet for lunch and such.

So, yeah. I gotta go to bed because I have to wake up at TOO EARLY in the morning. Good night.

Welcome

Hello everybody! Nice to have you here. This will be my writing repository. Every time I finish a story or a draft of a story or have something writing related to say, I'll put it here. I welcome your feedback and hope you enjoy my writing.

A little about me. I am an English(?) major at the University of Connecticut. Other than writing, my time is spent taking pictures and watching movies. I have another blog, Ever Day A Photo where I post a new photo every day. It's pretty self explanatory. My favorite book is Norton Juster's The Phantom Tollbooth. It was given to me by my aunt at a young age and ever since I first read it I fell in love. There are stories that change the way you look at life and The Phantom Tollbooth was my first experience. It even gave this blog it's name!

Alright, enough about me. Have a peek around and leave me some feedback, if you please.
